my “silent partners”

My parents were my biggest fans throughout my childhood, adult life and career as an art teacher.  They never missed an exhibit, whether it was of my work or of my students.  Here you see them at a Bowling Green High School art show posing in our cut-outs as Mona Lisa and the figure in The Scream.

This dream of opening an art gallery and studio was nurtured in me while they were alive and now, they have helped finance this venture with money they left behind (that is why I have their images near the cash register so they can keep an eye on things!).

This gallery and the mission behind it is a reflection of all that my parents taught me …about appreciating and valuing one’s talents and gifts, treating people the way you would like to be treated, exceeding the customer’s expectations through atireless work ethic and giving back to the community that helped raise you.

Is is our privilege to provide the area’s artists with a venue to display and sell their work.  Many of the artists are my former students and it gives me great pleasure to continue to nurture their gifts and be involved in their adult lives.
